Vicky Kaushal Praises Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, Credits Aditya Dhar for The Spark_我的网站

鹿鼎记陈小春版

一 |     As speculation continues around who will take over the iconic role of James Bond after Daniel Craig’s exit, Shah Rukh Khan has finally reacted to the much-discussed question, could Bollywood’s biggest superstar ever slip into the 007 tuxedo? The actor, who is gearing up for his next film King, shared his thoughts during a conversation with BBC News India while in London for the unveiling of a bronze statue alongside his Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge co-star Kajol.                                                                 View this post on Instagram          A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk)                              Craig’s retirement after No Time To Die has reignited global curiosity about the next face of the franchise. With names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Callum Turner leading the race for the role. So, when SRK was asked whether he would consider the role, his answer was equal parts humorous and humble.     “No, I don't have the accent,” he laughed, adding, “I don't like shaken martini either.” Reflecting on his relatively late entry into action cinema, he joked that it was Kajol who unknowingly delayed his action phase. “I was always wanting to do an action film, but then Kajol was in my life, and you can't do action films when Kajol is acting opposite you. So I did all the romantic films!” Kajol playfully reminded him that he worked on many films without her, too, but SRK maintained that their iconic pairings defined a generation.                                                                 View this post on Instagram          A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk)               The actor was open about the notion of Bond, even if he acknowledged that he enjoyed his recent action parts. "I don't know about James Bond, but Sean Connery for sure, yeah!" he said, expressing his respect for the renowned original 007.     Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig are among the actors who have starred in the James Bond series. The franchise is going through a change right now. The next instalment will be directed by Denis Villeneuve.     Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan continues to dominate Bollywood.  He is currently getting ready for King, which will be released in 2026 and co-star his daughter Suhana Khan, after winning a National Award for Jawan. Also Read: PHOTOS: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Inaugurate DDLJ-inspired Statue in Leicester。    Vicky Kaushal has joined the many celebrities praising Dhurandhar, becoming the most recent Bollywood star to express admiration for the film. Vicky wrote a very positive review of the film, describing it as "supremely engaging" and praising the team for providing a memorable cinematic experience.     Early on Friday, Vicky took to his Instagram Stories to express his views on Dhurandhar after watching the film. By reposting the poster of the film featuring Ranveer, Vicky wrote a note praising director Aditya Dhar for developing a story with such conviction and finesse. He wrote, “@adityadharfilms you beauty! What a mammoth task it must be for you and your team to pull off this Film with such conviction, finesse and first-rate world building... Hats off.”           Giving a shoutout to all the cast members, including Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, and R Madhavan, Vicky added, “Absolute PEAK PERFORMANCES! Technically Brilliant. Supremely engaging. Kudos to all the Dhurandhars involved.”            For those unaware, Vicky worked with Aditya on the successful 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike. This movie is inspired by the Indian Army's surgical strikes in Pakistan in 2016, which occurred after the attacks in Uri town, Jammu and Kashmir.            One fan theory suggests a connection between the film Dhurandhar and the director's 2019 success, Uri. In Dhurandhar, Ranveer plays Hamza, a man selected by the Indian intelligence chief (R Madhavan) to infiltrate Rehman Dakait’s (Akshaye Khanna) gang in Lyari, Pakistan. The film's climax reveals that Ranveer's character, Hamza, is in fact Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a convict who was offered an opportunity to redeem himself through this mission.           The name holds some significance. In Uri, a dialogue between the characters played by Vicky Kaushal and Kirti Kulhari reveals that her character's husband, Captain Jaskirat Singh Rangi, was unfortunately killed in action during an operation.           In recent days, many celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, and Smriti Irani, have expressed their admiration for Dhurandhar through their social media platforms. While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it has received universal praise from viewers. Also Read: Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif Mark Four Years of Marriage With a Heartfelt Anniversary Post。
