A |     [데일리안 = 이지희 기자] 인천 월미도에서 '디스코 팡팡'을 타던 30대 이용객이 놀이기구 밖으로 튕겨 나가는 사고가 발생한 가운데 사고 당시 이용객이 벗겨진 신발을 다시 신으려다 한쪽 팔을 풀었던 것으로 확인됐다.                   ⓒMBC인천 제물포경찰서는 26일 업무상 과실치상 의혹이 제기된 월미도 디스코 팡팡 사고와 관련해 입건 전 조사에 착수했다고 밝혔다.사고는 지난 23일 오후 9시 23분께 인천시 제물포구 북성동의 한 놀이공원에서 발생했다. 당시 디스코 팡팡을 이용하던 30대 A씨가 운행 중 놀이기구 바깥으로 튕겨 나가 떨어졌다.A씨는 사고 직후 머리와 목 부위에 통증을 호소해 119 구급대에 의해 병원으로 옮겨져 치료받았다. 다행히 생명에는 지장이 없는 상태로 전해졌다.A씨는 경찰에 "놀이기구를 타던 중 신발 한쪽이 벗겨지자 이를 다시 신으려고 한쪽 팔을 풀었고, 이 과정에서 순간적으로 몸이 뒤로 넘어졌다"는 취지로 사고 당시 상황을 진술했다.경찰은 A씨를 상대로 구체적인 사고 경위를 확인한 뒤 놀이기구를 조작한 디제이(DJ)와 시설 책임자 등을 상대로 업무상 과실 여부를 조사할 방침이다.。

B |     New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) India's indigenously built nuclear submarine INS Arihant on Friday carried out a successful launch of a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) that hit the target with high accuracy.

"The missile was tested to a predetermined range and impacted the target area in the Bay of Bengal with very high accuracy. All operational and technological parameters of the weapon system have been validated," the Defence Ministry said.

"The successful user training launch of the SLBM by INS Arihant is significant to prove crew competency and validate the SSBN programme, a key element of India’s nuclear deterrence capability. A robust, survivable and assured retaliatory capability is in keeping with India’s policy to have ‘Credible Minimum Deterrence‘ that underpins its ‘No First Use’ commitment," the Ministry added.

INS Arihant is India's first indigenous nuclear submarine and the flagship of the Arihant-class of nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines that is based on the Russian Akula-1 class submarine.

The 6,000 tonne submarine was built under the Advanced Technology Vessel project at the Ship Building Centre in Visakhapatnam.
